Dale Acton

Born in Guernsey and having lived there most of his life, Dale was one of the founding employees of Ravenscroft (formerly Cenkos Channel Islands) in 2005 and has been involved with most facets of the business since then. As the company has grown and evolved over the years, his previous roles and responsibilities have been extremely varied ranging from client take-on and compliance (including being the named Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer), settlements, trade execution, providing bespoke investment advice and coordinating business development. Before his relocation to Monaco, Dale was Ravenscroft's Head of Trading and Market Making and ensured that clients received a prompt, accurate and efficient trade execution service in stock markets and different asset classes across the globe. With over 14 years at Ravenscroft and almost 21 years working in the Channel Islands' finance industry, Dale has the knowledge and experience to head up Tavira Ravenscroft SAM in Monaco and build the business there.

Dale is a principled, amiable and gregarious person who cares deeply about the company he helped create and the relationships it has with its valued clients. Away from the office, his passion is being out in the elements, come rain or shine, and is at home on the water, up in the air or in the hills. He's also a big foodie and enjoys spending time with family and friends over good food and wine.

Eliot Goodfellow

Eliot Goodfellow founded Tavira in 2005. His vision, leadership and energy are the driving force behind the firm's development. He initially set-up Tavira to trade derivatives, having previously served as Refco's Head of Equity Derivatives. Tavira's brokerage business now facilitates customer trading across equities, fixed income, special situations and commodities as well as derivatives.

Under Eliot's direction, Tavira added a second pillar to its business in 2011 with the creation of an asset management platform, which has grown to include multiple hedge funds with total AUM approaching $1 billion.

Eliot is currently focused on building the firm's third pillar, a private wealth management and multi-family office business, which was launched in September 2018.

Gary Caldon

Gary Caldon serves as CFO of the Tavira Group. He began working with Tavira in 2005 in an advisory capacity.

He formally joined as a Director in 2006 and subsequently became a Group Director as Tavira expanded with the addition of several new group companies.

Prior to this, Gary was CFO within the ICAP group for City Index Limited. He also worked at Dresdner and Refco in similar roles. In 1995, Gary qualified as a Chartered Accountant after joining accounting firm Neville Russell. He received a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from London Metropolitan University.

Mark Bousfield

Mark joined Ravenscroft in 2008, having previously been head of discretionary portfolio management at Brewin Dolphin, Guernsey. Prior to that, he worked at Mathesons and Credit Suisse.

Mark was educated at Elizabeth College, Guernsey and the University of Leeds where he studied geography and politics. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, having completed the CISI Diploma and he is also a Chartered Wealth Manager.

As well as his role as Managing Director for the Ravenscroft group, Mark is also Managing Director of Ravenscroft Investment Management.

Debbie Wilson

Relationship Manager

Debbie was born and educated in Zimbabwe and after completing her education, she first worked for a commodity broker in Harare before relocating to Guernsey in 2004. With a genuine interest in the broad investment world and being able to utilise her previous trading experience, Debbie started as a trainee stockbroker with Brewin Dolphin on her move to Guernsey and became a key member of the trading and client relationship team. In 2008, Debbie moved to Ravenscroft to manage fund dealing for the group, in addition to coordinating the operational side of the team's unique range of funds. When Tavira and Ravenscroft created Tavira Ravenscroft SAM here in Monaco, Debbie was a natural choice to relocate alongside Dale and help build the business in the Principality.

A passionate, personable and energetic person, Debbie has a broad knowledge base and always strives to ensure that clients receive the very best at all times. When not being a first port of call for clients, Debbie enjoys a varied life including being as active as possible, spending time with those closest to her, enjoying cooking, food and wine and doting after her two beloved Birman cats. Debbie is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Jo Carre

Compliance Officer

Jo was born in Guernsey and worked for over 18 years in the finance sector there. Jo started her career in trust administration before moving to work for the regulator for many years. Jo went on to be a director of various financial services companies, specialising in their governance, risk and compliance, as well as holding the required regulatory roles of Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Latterly Jo has been a director of a consultancy company providing guidance and advice on regulatory issues to a wide variety of licensed entities. Jo also enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience and has been delivering training on anti-money laundering and other regulatory matters through the local university centre for over seven years.

Jo has had a long relationship with different elements of the current Ravenscroft Group, having been involved in BullionRock at its inception, as well as working with the predecessor cash management business acquired by Ravenscroft last year, and so has a good understanding of the diversity of services offered by the group, and the ethos that drives us.

Jo has a passion for all things French, having spent a large amount of time in France in her childhood, and speaking the language fluently from a young age, all of which led to her jumping at the opportunity to relocate to the Monaco office. Jo's other interests include walking her dogs, as well as painting and decorating. Jo is also a member of the International Compliance Association and holds a law degree.
